How it works

HeyDan is a tool that lets you safely chat with neighbours, negotiate a job contract and receive payment. 

Our goal is to support you with training and education, with our partners, and to work to help you reach your financial and community objectives faster.

Create a youth account under Heydan and have your parents approve your profile. Advertise your skills and your goals to your neighbours.  You can speak to your neighbours, customize the Youth Advertising Flyer under our resources section, or email support@heydan.ca for an advertising package.

Make your own money and build a reputation for yourself.

• Walk your neighbour’s dog
• Clean up their yard

Take a babysitting course through one of our partners, and familiarize yourself with safe work practices.

Your work history and success are documented through the App so you can use this for references.

Where does my money go?

Heydan allows you to collect funds in your Heydan Wallet that you can request at any time via e-transfer.

By leaving your funds in the Heydan Wallet, Heydan will work to help you reach your goals faster with your community partners and our on-line store.

Support a charity or team

You can also support your team or charity by contributing some of your earnings to your team or favorite charity. With all this goodwill and strong effort your first job application will stand out from the crowd.
